Blenheim Palace Horse Trials 2016 Entries open next week
Entries for the principal classes at Blenheim Palace Horse Trials open next week on Friday, 5 August.
This year Blenheim Palace Horse Trials (8th-11th September) boasts THREE three-star international classes – the CCI3*, the prestigious CIC3* for eight- and nine-year-old horses, and the final leg of Event Rider Masters series, also held at CIC3* level.
All entries should be made by visiting www.bdwp.co.uk/ble. Please note that while accepted entries for the CCI3* and CIC3* 8/9yo classes will be announced 48hr after the ballot date (17th August), the Event Rider Masters accepted entries will be released in the series’ draw format on 22nd August.
Event Director Mandy Hervieu said: “Blenheim always attracts the world’s best riders and their most exciting younger horses, so we expect to be fully subscribed as usual. I’m sure there will Rio 2016 Olympic medallists among our entries!
“The additional Event Rider Masters class should pose the entries secretary and the scorer an interesting challenge – setting the times so that the right rider is in the right place at the right time on the right horse wearing the correct number!”
Visit Blenheim to book tickets and for further information.
