BEF announces Non-Executive Director appointments

The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) has today confirmed the appointments of three Non-Executive Board Directors, who, alongside Joanne Shaw and the current Non-Executive Directors will look to support the next period of growth for the sport in the UK.
Alison Joyce, Reward and Benefits Manager for Severn Trent Plc, joins the Board as the Non-Executive Director for Human Resources. Alison has recently seen in her thirtieth year of volunteering at Scropton Riding and Driving RDA centre, where she is currently a charity trustee and director.
Deborah Smith, an experienced marketing and communications director who has previously worked for Sunderland City Council and currently manages her own marketing and communications consultancy, Promodo Ltd, has been appointed to the position of Non-Executive Director for Marketing and Communications.
Matt Mancini who works for the British Horseracing Authority will take up the position of Non-Executive Director for Participation. Matt joined the BHA in 2015 to lead the industry’s participant welfare strategy and is also a trustee and former director of the Newmarket charity The Racing Centre.
