Watch Olympia highlights on Horse & Country TV
Olympia, the London International Horse Show, gets underway next week (13-19 December), and once again viewers will be able to watch highlights from the competition on Horse & Country TV.
In the week running up to Christmas, H&C will be showing the FEI World Cup Driving (Tuesday 20th December at 8.30pm), FEI World Cup Dressage (Tuesday 20th December at 9pm) and FEI World Cup Jumping (Wednesday 21st December at 9pm).
Top British names including Carl Hester, Laura Tomlinson (nee Bechtolsheimer) and Michael Eilberg will be in action in the dressage; while homegrown showjumping stars competing at Olympia include Scott Brash, Ben Maher, and brothers John and Michael Whitaker.
In the New Year, H&C’s Olympia coverage continues, with the popular Puissance (Saturday 7th January at 8pm) and the Olympia Grand Prix (Saturday 7th January at 9pm), won last year by Michael Whitaker.
Viewers can either watch the action on Sky channel 253, or they can sign up to H&C Play to watch the shows online via their smart phone, tablet or PC. Following the premiere date of each show, viewers can see all the H&C Olympia coverage on 10-day catch up.
“Olympia is a highlight of the equestrian calendar, and we’re delighted to be bringing coverage of the event to our viewers,” said H&C’s Head of Programming, Jonathan Rippon.
The Horse & Country team will also be at Olympia throughout the show, delivering news and video interviews. H&C regulars Jenny Rudall and Rhi Lee-Jones, the winner of the Blue Chip All Star Academy, will be fronting the online video coverage. The online coverage of Olympia will be sponsored by Spillers Horse Feeds.
