The Arabian Racing Organisation published another full field of runners for their next Wolverhampton contest, thearabianracehorse.com maiden stakes to be run at Wolverhampton on Tuesday 29 September. Race sponsors The Arabian Racehorse magazine expressed their delight with the 13 declarations for the one-mile event which continues the run of well-populated races held by the Arabian Racing Organisation this season and is scheduled to go off at 3.30pm.
Magazine editor Debbie Burt, who also acts as media executive for the Arabian Racing Organisation commented:
It may only be a maiden, but it looks a really competitive affair. There are some very well-bred young horses in the field and I’m sure there will be plenty of winners to come out of it in the future, at all levels.
It has been a difficult year for racing and for Arabian racing in particular with the season pushed back in the calendar. However, with Arabians being slower to mature than thoroughbreds this late start has been to their advantage, so it’s great that more than half the field are three-year-olds. I’m also delighted that despite the challenges, we have new owners and trainers getting involved this season which is of huge benefit to the diversity of the sport and can only bode well for the future.”
Genny Haynes, ARO Commercial and Finance Director was also pleased commenting.
