As another fruitful year of dressage competition comes to a close at Somerford Park, it can be concluded that it was resounding success registering strong entries across all classes.

Premier League FEI Intermediate I – S

Cheshire based Sarah Higgins enjoyed considerable success throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, clinching victory in a selection of hotly contested classes including Monday’s Inter I, sponsored by Saracen Horse Feeds. Sarah and her horse, Waldessarini posted the highest score of 71.10%.

I’ve had a great weekend I’ve had quite a few horse here and feel quite weary!”

said Sarah.

My best result to date was my win in the Inter II on Saturday on Sarah Rao’s Alfranco. I was terrified as it’s a very new level to me and only my second time I’ve ridden at that level, although ‘Alfie’ is super experienced and just awesome, and held my hand the whole way through.”
