Riders across the country get ready for the Mitsubishi Motors Cup

The countdown is on to the inaugural Mitsubishi Motors Cup with entries now open (21st March 2016), for the prestigious event which takes place on the 3rd and 4th of May 2016 at Badminton, Gloucestershire.

Formerly known as the Mitsubishi Motors Grassroots Championships, the 2016 event takes place on the eve of the world famous CCI4* Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, which attracts the top horse and rider combinations from across the globe as well as visitors numbers in excess of 150, 000 across the five days of competition (4th – 8th May 2016).

Entries for over 120 qualified riders in the BE90 and over 90 riders in the BE100 openned on 21st March, and will see competitors from as far and wide as The Isle of Wight to the Scottish Highlands placing their entries for the first running of the Mitsubishi Motors Cup.

The renamed competition is also an extension of the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of sponsorship of the international (CCI4*) competition, thought to be one of the longest sponsorship partnerships in sporting history, Mitsubishi Motors Cup competitors in both the BE90 and BE100 classes will contest for a generous prize fund which includes the exciting chance to take home a brand new vehicle of their choice from the Mitsubishi range for one year.

The riders get a truly special experience with welcome reception drinks in the Mitsubishi hospitality area, a press conference in the Media Centre plus tickets to stay on to watch the International competition after the Mitsubishi Motors Cup finale has taken place.
