Progress! Steph Gumn Blog Update

Steph Gumn – November 2016

Another couple of months where progress is being made, just the way I like it. Nemo is going great, he’s jumped his first fences under saddle and he’s brave. Can’t wait for the 2017 season with him.

I decided he needed a friend so I purchased another three-year-old whilst on a trip to Belgium with a client. Stable name Alvin, looks to be a big jumper, but he’s weak so it’ll be interesting to see how this one develops over the coming months.

“I should have a nice little team for next year now but I am also looking for rides to add to it”

I received the amazing news that I have been accepted on to the young professionals programme 2017. This is something that I have wanted to do for a couple of years so I am over the moon with the opportunity! I start the programme this month and can’t wait to get going with it.

I have been to Belgium a few times with clients and helped source some lovely horses and my little yard has been busy with clients. We are now on the run up to Christmas (my favourite time of the year!) which means my three year olds can be worked a few times a week and get ready to hire some little courses  come January. I will keep you updated!
