Nominations are now open for the 2026 Equestrian Business Awards, in association with Equinnect, inviting the equestrian community to recognise the businesses, professionals and organisations driving excellence across the industry.

Now firmly established as a benchmark for professionalism within the equestrian sector, the Equestrian Business Awards celebrate innovation, integrity, customer service and long-term contribution. The awards aim not only to recognise commercial success, but also to highlight best practice, high welfare standards and the positive impact equestrian businesses have within their communities.

Celebrating excellence across the equestrian industry

Nominations for the 2026 awards will remain open until 1 April 2026, giving customers, peers and industry professionals the opportunity to put forward those they believe deserve recognition. Following a structured and transparent judging process, finalists will be announced at the end of May 2026, ahead of the awards celebration later in the year.

A wide range of award categories will be presented, recognising excellence across established businesses, emerging enterprises, service providers and individuals demonstrating outstanding dedication to their field. Full details of the categories are available via the official Equestrian Business Awards website.

Industry-backed and independently judged

The 2026 Equestrian Business Awards are proudly supported by a number of leading industry sponsors, including BAEDT, Equinnect, Cowgirl Like Me Media, Equicantis, Westgate Labs, Equine K Taping UK and Downwest Embroidery. The Farrier of the Year award is endorsed by The Worshipful Company of Farriers, reinforcing the awards’ commitment to quality and professional standards.

The awards are free to enter and welcome both third-party and self-nominations in applicable categories. The full nomination, shortlisting and judging process is publicly available, reflecting the organisers’ commitment to fairness, transparency and credibility.

Building on a successful 2025

Details of the 2025 award winners are available online, showcasing the breadth and diversity of businesses and professionals recognised. Last year’s awards evening was a sell-out event, welcoming more than 320 guests from across the equestrian sector, and was supported by organisations including the BFBA, WCF, BAEDT and WD-40.

The 2025 event also saw the launch of the first Equestrian Entrepreneurs Network afternoon, which proved a major success and is set to return as part of the 2026 programme.

A platform for professionalism and welfare

Founder of the Equestrian Business Awards, Katy Wright, said the awards play an important role in championing high standards across the industry.

“The Equestrian Business Awards recognise the people and organisations who consistently go above and beyond for their clients, horses and the wider industry,” she said. “By working alongside our sponsors, we are proud to provide a platform that celebrates professionalism, innovation and welfare-led excellence across the equestrian sector.”

Nominations are open to everyone, and members of the equestrian community are encouraged to take part by nominating businesses or professionals whose work deserves recognition.
