British Equestrian Announces Jumping Nominated Entries for FEI World Championships 2026
British Equestrian and British Showjumping have confirmed the 15 athlete and horse combinations that will be submitted to the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) as Britain’s nominated entries for the FEI Jumping World Championship 2026, taking place in Aachen, Germany, from 11–23 August.
The longlist combines Olympic and championship experience with several riders who continue to impress on the international stage. The final squad of five horse-and-rider combinations, along with non-travelling reserves, will be announced closer to the championships, subject to each athlete and horse maintaining the required levels of fitness and performance.

- Jessica Mendoza – Summerhouse
- Matthew Sampson – Un Secreto Z
- Joseph Stockdale – Ebanking
- Jack Whitaker – Jack JL
- Adrian Whiteway – Chacco Volo
At the time of the announcement, the names of the grooms who will accompany the horses to Aachen had not been confirmed and will be included when the final showjumping squad is announced.
The British Equestrian World Class Programme continues to benefit from funding provided by the National Lottery and UK Sport, which plays a vital role in preparing Britain’s championship teams.
British Equestrian also acknowledged the continued support of its partners, whose backing helps the World Class Programme prepare athletes and horses for senior championship competition.
