Horse Health Expo – new event for horse-health conscious owners, riders and professionals

Horse Health Expo  – Market research has shown that the horse-owning public has a thirst for high-level knowledge about how best to manage their horses, particularly when problems arise. Whilst most enjoy close relationships with the veterinary and other professionals who are directly involved in the care of their horses, until now, there has been no simple way that they can directly access advice and information from the people that vets turn to for advice.

A new event, focused exclusively on horse health and welfare, will take place at Stoneleigh from 25-27 March 2016, giving horse-owners direct access to some of the finest minds in the veterinary and equine health industry. Developed by horse-owners, for horse-owners, Horse Health Expo bridges the divide between owners and leading equine health professionals, sharing the latest research, treatments and management techniques, via a dynamic series of lectures, workshops and round-table discussions. As well as observing these sessions, horse-owners will be able to discuss specific concerns directly with vets and other professionals by visiting topic-specific Pro-stands, set up throughout the venue, which will be manned by experts in each field.

A unique element of Horse Health Expo will be the live clinics, where horses with complex or interesting veterinary issues will be assessed by experts, and treatment/management protocols presented, for the benefit of both the individual owner, and the audience. Owners of horses which may benefit from the opinion of Horse Health Expo’s team of experts are invited to submit their horses details via the website www.horsehealthexpo.com, *Please note that you must have written permission from your vet, and a full clinical history will be required.

The “live” element of the event will also include ridden demonstrations from some of our leading riders, which will focus on health-related subjects. Rather than just being a showcase of beautiful, well bred horses, ridden by leading riders, the demonstrations will focus on how to improve a horses way of going by looking at how elements like saddle fit, rider position, and the biomechanics of different training techniques can effect the horses ability to move freely and make the best use of his natural talent. Support from leading riders has been huge already. Geoff Billngton, Harry Meade, and Paul Tapner have already pledged their allegiance, and we have some other exciting names to announce in due course.

Of course, no major equine event is complete without a great shopping experience, and Horse Health Expo is no different in that respect. There will be a large tradestand area, which although focused on horse health, will also offer a wide range of other equine/animal/countryside related stands, and many a bargain for the savvy shopper.

Young visitors are also catered for, with a special area for pony- mad children, and a range of activities and demos specifically designed to educate the equestrian stars of the future.

Tickets are on sale now, ranging in price from £10 for a Child’s day ticket, which provides access to the whole event, including all demonstrations, lectures and workshops, to £294 for a 3-day Family Premium ticket, which offers Fast Track entry, reserved seating, and access to the Premium Lounge, where visitors can enjoy a buffet style lunch, and meet our sponsored riders. A standard Adult day ticket costs £26
