Some partnerships in the equestrian world are built on more than just business – they’re built on genuine passion for the sport and the people who make it happen. The relationship between British Horse Feeds, The Golden Paste Company, and Endurance GB is exactly that kind of partnership.
Fifteen Years Strong and Still Growing
This September, British Horse Feeds will celebrate a remarkable milestone – their 15th consecutive year sponsoring The Red Dragon Festival of Endurance. That’s fifteen years of supporting riders as they tackle some of the most demanding challenges our sport has to offer, from the stunning Welsh countryside surrounding the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells.
But they’re not going it alone. Sister company The Golden Paste Company, part of the I’Anson family business since 2014, has been championing the National Championships at Red Dragon for over a decade. Together, these two brands have become synonymous with endurance excellence.
Something New on the Horizon
2025 brings an exciting development that’s got the endurance community buzzing. The Golden Paste Company has launched a brand-new National Championship Series – six qualifiers designed to welcome riders at every level into the fold.
Here’s how it works: complete three rounds of qualifiers, and you’ll earn your place at the National Championship Final during September’s Red Dragon Festival. It’s an opportunity that’s open to all Endurance GB members, regardless of experience level.
Opening Doors for New Riders
Larissa Whiley, Endurance GB’s new Chair, brings both extensive riding experience and sharp management insight to her role. Her vision is clear: “This series of qualifiers is aimed at all of our members. Introducing new people to participate in the sport is vital for it to continue.”
It’s a refreshing approach that recognizes endurance riding isn’t just for the elite – it’s for anyone with a horse and the spirit of adventure.
The Perfect Fuel for the Journey
What makes this partnership so natural? It’s all about understanding what endurance horses truly need. Branca Gebbie, Business and Trade Manager for both companies, explains it perfectly: “Our Fibre-Beet product really helps endurance horse owners manage the amount of work some of their horses do while still maintaining condition.”
Meanwhile, The Golden Paste Company’s turmeric-based products support everything from skin health to digestion, helping horses maintain their natural well-being through the demands of competition.
More Than Sponsors – They’re Family
“We look upon the endurance community as our friends,” says Gebbie, and that sentiment shines through in everything they do. This isn’t just about putting logos on banners – it’s about genuinely supporting a community they’re proud to be part of.
Ready to Join the Adventure?
Whether you’re a seasoned endurance veteran or someone who’s been curious about dipping their toes into competitive distance riding, this new National Championship Series could be your perfect entry point.
The Red Dragon Festival of Endurance takes place from Friday, 26 September to Sunday, 28 September 2025, and with six qualifiers leading up to it, there’s never been a better time to get involved.
