Great Britain’s Scott Brash has opened 2026 in second place on the FEI Longines Rankings for jumping, underlining the consistency that has kept him among the sport’s elite.
According to the latest FEI standings, Kent Farrington (USA) begins the year as world number one on 3,487 points, with Brash close behind on 3,222. Germany’s Christian Kukuk holds third on 3,130.
For UK showjumping fans, it is also a strong month for Ben Maher, who remains fourth on 3,089 points, keeping two British riders inside the world’s top four.
Longines Rankings: Brash and Maher keep Britain at the top table
The top seven positions remain unchanged, with Belgium’s Gilles Thomas fifth (3,009), Germany’s Richard Vogel sixth (2,912) and USA’s Laura Kraut seventh (2,809).
One of the standout movers is France’s Nina Mallevaey, who reaches the top 10 for the first time, climbing four places to eighth on 2,788 points. McLain Ward (USA) is ninth (2,769) and Julien Epaillard (FRA) completes the top 10 (2,766).
Longines League of Nations™ ranking: Great Britain holds sixth
In the Longines League of Nations™ ranking, Team USA continues to lead on 15,055 points. Belgium sits second (14,531) and France third (14,058).
Great Britain maintains sixth place on 13,385 points, with Ireland fourth (13,934) and Germany fifth (13,606).
Dressage: Becky Moody climbs to world No.2
British dressage also features prominently this month. Belgium’s Justin Verboomen remains world number one on 1,958 points, while Great Britain’s Becky Moody climbs two places to second on 1,778.
Isabell Werth (GER) is third (1,724), with Great Britain’s Charlotte Fry fourth (1,711). Carl Hester returns to the top five in fifth on 1,636.
Eventing: Harry Meade stays world No.1
In the FEI Eventing World Athlete Ranking, Britain’s Harry Meade continues his run at the top for an eighth consecutive month, leading on 588 points.
Great Britain also has Laura Collett in third on 469 points, while Rosalind Canter is fifth on 453.
