Reasons to attend

This year’s show returns with a stellar line-up of classes, events and entertainment to suit all. Demonstrations feature heavily from the outset; spectators will be treated to a masterclass from Pippa and William Funnell on the Wednesday evening whilst for Thursday’s masterclass, Carl Hester & Van Olst Horses will take to the arena.

The show is set to host a number of prestigious Dressage Viewing Trials for the World Equestrian Games, Young Dressage Horse World Championships and the European Pony Championships as well as the prestigious CDI3* Grand Prix and Freestyle.

Competition gets serious from day one with dressage warming up the event in the main arena. Big names to look out for on this front are of course Carl Hester and Britain’s golden girl, Charlotte Dujardin who so enjoyed last year’s show.  Carl and Charlotte will be riding their current stars and potential World Equestrian Games rides, Hawtins Delicato and Mount St John Freestyle.

The Eventing Grand Prix and Bolesworth Elite Auction are two ‘not to be missed’ feature events that take place on the Thursday evening before the entertainment, hosted by Club Bowls, gets underway.

Showjumping, as ever, is featured heavily throughout the event. The heat’s really on from the Friday, with feature classes that include the CSI4* and the evening’s international Puissance. A celebrity fashion show, polo demonstration and live music is set to finish off the day.

The weekend is set for more major sporting action. New classes have been added to the line-up and not to forget, Saturday plays host to the popular Ladies Day. Grand Prix Sunday is a day full of top showjumping action and includes the CSI 4* showjumping, Mini Major showjumping and the Inter Hunt relay.

There’s also plenty to do and see. A little shopping therapy may well be in order, there are several eateries, VIP Hospitality packages available and more.

Tickets are available to buy individually or a season pass is a good option for visitors wanting the flexibility to watch certain classes across the five days of fabulous sporting action.
