Cyden Dressage Stallions Joins Forces with South Grange Stud

Cyden Dressage Stallions and South Grange Stud (SGS) have teamed up together with top reproductive vet Dr James Crabtree of Equine Reproductive Services (UK) Limited (ERS), Malton, to offer stud services and AI at South Grange Stud, Huggate, York.

This provides mare owners wanting to get their mare in foal this year to KWPN-approved Cyden Bodyguard Moorland, NWPCS pony stallion Cyden Oostings Amigo or KWPN-approved Cyden Cadans M, with the opportunity to do so much closer to home.

South Grange Stud and Equine Reproductive Services are offering a package price for mares to go to SGS to be artificially inseminated, scanned and if all goes well to be returned to you in foal.

All work will be carried out by the exceptionally renowned vet, James Crabtree of ERS, giving you total confidence your mare is in experienced hands. Alternatively you can use South Grange Stud as a drop off for your mare to be scanned and prepared for AI and then returned when insemination and treatments are required.

We all know the challenges of breeding and hope that this move will improve the chances of successful insemination. James is very approachable and will happily discuss your individual mares’ needs, history or problems.

Cyden Stallions owner Lara Dyson said of the new joint venture: “It is great for us to be able to join forces with South Grange Stud and offer mare owners another option. Breeding can be an expensive business so I am delighted to have the opportunity to provide such a great service locally.”
