Cheltenham Racecourse will host a festive race day on 12 December, raising funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity with support from sponsor EV Cargo.

Racing fans are invited to combine a festive day at Cheltenham Racecourse with support for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity at this year’s Christmas Meeting on Saturday 12 December 2026. With a three-course meal, a Gold Cup experience, racing and festive activities planned, the Christmas Meeting will offer supporters a seasonal occasion with fundraising at its heart.

The event will bring together racing enthusiasts and supporters for a day of racing, seasonal entertainment and fundraising for the charity, which provides pre-hospital emergency care across the Midlands. The event is sponsored by EV Cargo, a global transport and logistics services provider operating across the Midlands and wider UK.

Cheltenham Racecourse has partnered with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity for the meeting, offering the organisation exclusive use of the Festival Suite, overlooking the paddock. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal and a Gold Cup experience alongside the day’s racing, with festive attractions including a Christmas market and carol singing.

Wiktoria Jaworska, corporate partnership executive at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We are delighted to host our first Christmas Meeting Race Day at Cheltenham Racecourse. This event will bring supporters together for a fantastic day while raising vital funds for our lifesaving service.

“We’re incredibly grateful to EV Cargo for their generous sponsorship, helping us continue to respond to incidents and save lives across our six-county region.” Guy Lavender, chief executive at Cheltenham Racecourse, welcomed the partnership and the opportunity to bring racing and fundraising together.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity provides emergency care to patients across its six-county operational area. Fundraising and corporate partnerships help support its work, bringing businesses and members of the public together to contribute to the continuation of its service.

The Christmas Meeting will give racegoers the opportunity to enjoy one of the sport’s best-known venues while supporting an emergency service operating across the region. The combination of racing, dining and seasonal entertainment is designed to appeal to regular racegoers and those seeking a festive day out with a charitable purpose.
