James Hick, Chief Executive at The British Horse Society said: “We are delighted to be the official charity partner for Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, for a second year running. Our volunteers and supporters work incredibly hard to protect the unique bond that so many people have with horses and to Keep Britain Riding. We’re thrilled to be able to showcase this important work and to celebrate just how truly special horses are.”

The BHS exists to change lives through the power of horses. Whatever path an individual takes with horses and however they thrive together, the BHS is here to protect and support the interests of all equestrians every step of the way.

Through education, equine welfare, protecting and increasing off-road access for equestrians, safety for horses and riders and increasing community participation in equestrianism, the charity works hard to protect that unique horse human bond to ensure it can be enjoyed for future generations.

The BHS’s Approved Centres Scheme, inclusive educational programmes and national club system, British Riding Clubs, continue to help keep Britain’s equestrianism thriving, enabling people from all communities and at all levels to experience the joy of horses.

Event Organiser, Katrina Midgley added, “Working with the BHS allows the event to support and protect horses and riders at all their touch points. Those of us involved in equestrian sport have much to thank the charity for so we are very happy to be able to work closely with them and raise funds for their causes at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials.”
