New Country & Equestrian Essentials Collection, Glaze & Gordon, Celebrate Launch at Olympia
Glaze & Gordon, a luxury British born, top class equestrian and country store have just celebrated their official launch at Olympia, the London International Horse Show.
The brand offers style and quality horse, rider, home and hound. They also stock other specialist brands that have been hand picked on their ethos – quality, style and difference. They are the first and only British retailer for many USA and European brands, including Outback, Sommer and Ghodho. Founded by Becs Glaze, with help from her sister Kate, this elite country collection is affectionately named after Becs’ family, Glaze, and her husbands family, Gordon. It just so happens they also have a horse called Gordon!
“We decided to launch Glaze & Gordon as we struggled to find good quality items at a fair price and had a number of items from well known brands fail us. This led us to find the best of the best brands as well as creating our own line using the best materials and artisans,” Becs explains.
The girls grew up in the countryside and have a flair for rural living – but Becs spent 7 years in New York, so can bring a city inspiration and feel to some of the stock. She found the range of products across the pond to be quite astonishing and their technology of fabrics offers considerable choice.
With rider and casual wear, country fashion and accessories, tack and horse-wear, home-wear and even dog-wear, the collection is bound to appeal to anyone living the dream outside the city. The line is sourced personally by Becs from the Americas and Europe and each piece is chosen for its style, durability and price. Becs and Kate also have an input on refining design details to ensure the final piece was as exceptional, in both style and quality, as could be.
