American horse trainer and clinician, Joe Wolter will be at the Crescent Arena in Kentisbeare, Devon for a 3-day horsemanship clinic on 3,4 and 5th of August 2018.
Mr. Wolter studied extensively with Ray Hunt, as well as Tom and Bill Dorrance, the originators of what has come to be known as “Natural Horsemanship.” He is widely considered to be one of the best and purest examples of what these three legends of the horse world sought to impart.
Known for his deep understanding of horses and his kind, thoughtful approach to sharing his knowledge, Mr. Wolter holds training clinics throughout North America. This will be his Second trip to the United Kingdom.
“I was fortunate to know some truly great horsemen who were generous enough to share their knowledge and understanding of horses with me,” Mr. Wolter says. “I often think how lucky I was to get the opportunities and help I got when I did. Conducting clinics is how I give back what they gave to me.”
The Kentisbeare clinic is being hosted by James Robertson of Cullompton. “I have always wanted to ride with Joe Wolter,” Mr. Robertson says. “I thought it would be great to bring him over here so that others in the UK could also ride with him and see how his approach to horses can benefit riders of all levels and interests.”
