The British Showjumping National Championships are now underway at Stoneleigh Park, with six days of championship competition bringing together riders from across the country to compete for national honours.
Running from 4 to 9 August, the championships are among the biggest fixtures in the British Showjumping calendar, attracting competitors of all ages and levels. From ambitious amateurs and talented young riders to experienced professionals, hundreds of horse and rider combinations will contest national titles across a packed programme of championship classes.
The opening day sees riders competing for the National Under 21, Grade B and Grade C Championship titles, while the week ahead promises a full schedule of action across senior, amateur and pony divisions. Among the feature competitions are the Ariat Senior British Novice and GFS Saddles Senior Newcomers Championships, National Amateur Finals, Discovery, 1.05m and 1.15m Championship Finals, together with the ever-popular Pony Championships and Para Equestrian Championships.
One of the standout additions for 2026 is the introduction of the new National 95cm Championship, creating another opportunity for grassroots riders to compete for a national title. The championship has been made possible by the addition of a third Andrews Bowen surfaced arena at Stoneleigh Park, reflecting British Showjumping’s continued investment in widening competitive opportunities and supporting progression throughout the sport.
The expanded facilities will also enhance the experience for competitors and spectators alike, allowing more championship classes to run across three championship arenas throughout the week.
Away from the competition rings, visitors can enjoy a bustling shopping village, food and refreshments, while watching some of Britain’s leading showjumpers compete alongside the next generation of talent. With free spectator entry throughout the event, the championships continue to offer an accessible day out for equestrian enthusiasts and families alike.
