Essex-based producer Justine Armstrong celebrated after Jane O’Keeffe’s mannerly gelding, Rosemore Midnight Rendezvous, gave her a Championship win at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Saturday, 4th May 2024. Gareth Hughes and Classic Goldstrike danced to victory today in The Defender CDI4* FEI Dressage Grand Prix at the Royal Windsor Horse Show (RWHS), helping open the show in style. Four-time Olympian Richard Davison was on hand to assist with the proceedings. The Jumping highlight of the Royal Windsor Horse Show (RWHS) came from the Rolex Grand Prix. Bathed in the glorious afternoon sunshine, Windsor Castle proved a fitting backdrop for this prestigious class. With the world’s best riders gathered for the CSI5* Rolex Grand Prix, a truly international field representing 12 different countries, collected to tackle the course. As excitement continues to rise for the Royal Windsor Horse Show (10–14 May 2023), organisers have announced their delight that Charlotte Dujardin will be taking part in the Defender CDI4* FEI Dressage aboard the striking chestnut gelding, Imhotep. The class will take place on Wednesday 10 May and Thursday 11 May, and will be the first international competition for Dujardin following the birth of her daughter, Isabella, in March this year.
