Horse stuck in rails after trying to escape field
A horse had to be cut free today from rails after trying to escape his field in Dodington, Gloucestershire.
The horse had been in distress but was kept calm by a vet from the Isle Veterinary Centre. The road was closed off whilst the operation took place.
The black and white cob, who is believed to be named Harry didn’t appear to be hurt as he walked back to his field once the fire-fighters had managed to free him from the rails.
