Last Racehorse to Riding Horse Qualifier held at Burghley Horse Trials

The last of the 2016 Last Racehorse to Riding Horse Qualifier will be held at Burghley Horse Trials. in the Main Arena on Sunday 4^th September. The opportunity provides the final opportunity to qualify for the prestigious finals at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS).

The event recognises the huge popularity of this class with both competitors and spectators alike, and is delighted to be able to provide an opportunity to see how correctly re-schooled ex-racehorses can go on to be successful in the show ring.

The Racehorse to Riding Horse Show Championship, first of all, was created by SEIB Insurance Brokers over 10 years ago give support and recognition to those retraining racehorses.  The series offers six qualifiers throughout the country, with winners earning a coveted ticket to the championship held at HOYS. The Racehorse to Riding Horse of the Year has the honour of going forward to the Supreme Horse of the Year final.

The classes are open to both amateur and professional producers. The Championship will be held at the HOYS on the 5^th – 9^th October 2016, at the Birmingham NEC.
