Gemma Tattersall Confirms Olympic Ride

British Equestrian Team – Rio 2016 Olympic Games – Update

Following the announcement of the Team GB Equestrian Eventing team on 5 July 2016, it has now been confirmed that Gemma Tattersall, age 31, based West Sussex, will partner The Pebbles Syndicate’s Quicklook V at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The announcement confirms Gemma’s ride of Quicklook V and not Christopher Stone’s, Chicco Bella P. Quicklook V, stable name Pebbles, is a 12-year-old grey mare by Urkel, out of Unabresse M (Image below)

Gemma has enjoyed tremendous success this year including winning the CIC*** Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials on board Chico Bella P (June) and, most notable, was her coming third at the CCI**** Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials riding ex-racehorse, Arctic Soul.

Gemma and Pebbles will line-up alongside William Fox-Pitt (Chilli Morning), Kitty King (Ceylor L A N) and Izzy Taylor (Allercombe Ellie); further details about all selected Team GB equestrian athletes and travelling reserves can be found here.
