Equilibrium Products is proud to announce the sponsorship of junior and pony international dressage riders, Ruth & Clare Hole.
Based in Bury St Edmunds, Ruth and Clare Hole have been riding for nearly as long as they could walk, progressing through Pony Club, BYRDS and then as part of Great Britain Dressage squads for the last 5 years. Both girls enjoy jumping but it is dressage that they have specialised in from a young age. In fact, Clare won her first affiliated Novice competition at the age of 7 years!
16 year old Ruth has represented Great Britain 9 times at Pony (under 16s) level and 7 times at Junior (under 18s) level, l with numerous placings at International and Premier league shows. In 2013 Ruth was selected as reserve for the bronze medal winning team at the Pony European Championships with her pony of a lifetime, the elite stallion Bernwode Brokat. This year she was both first reserve for the Junior Europeans with the 17.3 hand Winnetou GEP and also reserve for the pony Europeans with Bernwode Brokat. Ruth and Winnetou were the top GB junior combination on the FEI world rankings for much of the summer season.
Ruth has also competed up to Grand Prix level: winning her first Prix St Georges at the age of 14, and coming second in her first Grand Prix at the age of 15. Ruth has recently been given the ride of an exciting young stallion, MFS Cayden HH from MFS Studfarm.
At just 13 years old, Clare was the youngest member of team GB at the Pony European Dressage Championships winning a historic team gold this summer with the stunning black pony stallion Rembrandt DDH. 2015 has been a brilliant year for the combination, being in the prize giving at every International competition they have been selected for, culminating with an amazing experience in Sweden at the Pony European Championships. Clare has been a member of the GB pony squad for the last 3 years, representing Great Britain on Bernwode Brokat as well as Rembrandt DDH, and training Brokat’s son Bernwode Broadway.
