Carr and Day and Martin Natural Insect Repellent Equimist Spray
This summer we couldn’t have done without, Carr and Day and Martin Natural Insect Repellent. The Equimist spray is excellent for horses that are not happy with the noise of traditional sprays. The pump-action mist is distributed evenly over your horse, leaving him (or her) protected throughout the day.
The 600ml bottle contains the natural ingredients pmenthane-3 and 8-Diol
Top Tip: For application around the horse’s head, spray a little onto hands before wiping around the muzzle, ears and cheekbones.
With plenty of summer still to be had, why not try it out?
Also, another firm favourite in our tack box so far this year, has been the Net-Tex Mane & Tail Detangler 500ml – Spray. It reduces grooming time at the same time as preventing damaged mane and tail hair.
Apply to either wet, or a dry mane and tail. For best results use after bathing and before brushing.
Top Tip: Avoid spraying any lotions at the top of the horses dock, try to keep to the lengths of hair rather than directly onto the skin.
The smell is super nice too!
