British Eventing News – Andrew Fell appointed as Regional Coordinator for the South West

British Eventing news – British Eventing is delighted to announce Andrew Fell as the new BE Regional Coordinator (RC) for the South West.

Based in Wiltshire, Andrew originally hails from Ireland where his family own and run the Ballindenisk competition venue in Co. Cork which host an international horse trials twice a year, along with several other equestrian events. A ‘List A’ Cross Country Course Designer and Gold Cross Country Course Builder, Andrew’s CV boasts a wealth of eventing knowledge including his roles as a BE Technical Adviser and FEI Technical Delegate. Also sitting on the BE Cross Country Advisory Group, Andrew is part of an experienced panel who advise on cross country specific issues to the Safety Committee.

Supporting BE Affiliated events in the South West, the RC role combines sport development within the designated region and maintaining relationships between events, staff and the BE Head Office. Acting as the first point of contact for event organisers, RC’s ensure events in the region meet the required standards and their smooth running, including managing the distribution of BE Officials.

Andrew will also be responsible for helping to develop more opportunities and provide advice and support to events across the South West as well as acting as Chair to the new Regional Committee.

Speaking on his appointment, Andrew said: “I am delighted to be appointed as Regional Coordinator for the South West and am looking forward to working with such a great team of organisers, officials and riders to support and enhance the South West region”.
