Bolesworth Beats the Weather!

Bolesworth have today confirmed the go ahead of the first day’s action with the ground draining considerably overnight. The Lake Arena, as announced yesterday evening, will remain closed for today (16/06/2016). All classes have been cancelled to help preserve the ground ahead of the week’s schedule.

The spotlight today is on this evening’s ‘Freestyle to Dressage’ competition featuring all of the London 2012 Olympic Gold Medal team; Charlotte Dujardin, Carl Hester, Laura Tomlinson and Richard Davidson!

There’ll be plenty to whet your appetite through the day with showjumping in the International arena, a selection of eateries, fabulous shopping and demonstrations for all.

New for 2016 is the Equine Learning Zone which will play host to meet and greets from top class riders, as they stop in for a short break amid their busy competition timetable. Educational talks on horse health, saddlery advice and other essential must know equestrian information will continue throughout the week.

The family fun zone will provide additional entertainment including a vintage fun fair, clip clop pony rides, bouncy castle fun, a climbing wall, caving and even an assault course!

If you are not able to make it down to the Bolesworth showground, live streaming will be available via the Bolesworth International website
