Equestrian enthusiasts were ‘gobsmacked’ earlier this year (2015) when the rider announced the reason why he had been unusually quiet was because he had been diagnosed with cancer.
During what must have been a difficult year for Ben hobday, his family and close friends, he continued to keep all of his fans as ‘up to date with progress’ as possible through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites. Gifts, well-wishes and messages poured in over the month’s following the announcement.
The news follows a successful outing at Your Horse Live last weekend for Ben, where he joined Paul Tapner to give an insight into their training methods of the flat and over fences.
