GRUBS Sponsor Winter Arena Eventing Series at Northcote Stud Equestrian Centre

Performance footwear specialists, GRUBS are delighted to announce they will be continuing to sponsor the Winter Arena Eventing Series at Northcote Stud Equestrian Centre in Lancashire.

The series is aimed at ‘grass root’ level eventing with junior and senior classes of 80cm, 90cm and 1m taking place.

Competitors will jump a course of 16-20 fences set up in the large outdoor arena. The first part of the course will be show jumps with the latter section being a mix of rustic style jumps and solid cross-country style fences.

There will also be an undisclosed optimum time and riders will incur time penalties for every 10 seconds faster or 5 seconds slower.

Prize money will be up for grabs for the top three placings in each section and the winner will also receive a pair of GRUBS boots as part of their prize.

Held each month over the winter period, the series will conclude with a final event where all riders who have clear rounds throughout the series can qualify to compete.

Said David Foster of Grub’s: “We are delighted to continue to support a local event that encourages riders at grass root level to hopefully move up into the world of affiliated eventing. This year sees some exciting new developments with a series final to qualify for.”
