Alltech to Continue Support of Showing Classes at Hickstead in 2016
Alltech is delighted to continue their support of a number of showing classes at The Equestrian.com Hickstead Derby Meeting (23rd – 26th June).
With a number of Horse of the Year Show qualifying tickets on offer and a wide range of classes, many of the country’s top riders and producers head to Hickstead each June. As well as being one of the major fixtures in the summer showing calendar, The Equestrian.com Hickstead Derby Meeting is best known for its international show-jumping classes, but there is plenty more on offer for fans of equestrian sport.
There are dozens of showing classes, including the prestigious final of the Tattersalls/RoR Thoroughbred Show Horse Championship, plus there’s scurry and carriage driving. Saturday evening is ‘party night’, when everyone is invited to stay on at the showground for the entertaining Celebrity Polo Match, with the spectacle that is the famous Equestrian.com Derby drawing the meeting to a close on Sunday afternoon.
Alltech will once again be the official sponsor of the Small Hunter Championship, the Maxi Cob, Small and Large Riding Horse classes and the Supreme Riding Horse Championship on the Friday, as well as the Hack classes, the Supreme Hack Championship and Working Hunter class, which are all held on the Saturday of the show.
Sunday, the final day of the Equestrian.com Hickstead Derby Meeting, will see Alltech support the Show Hunter classes, the Supreme Hunter Championship, the Supreme Coloured Horse In-Hand Championship and a series of Chaps UK coloured horse and pony qualifiers.
